Meet Some Employers

Moving-hand We interviewed local employers about employability skills - find out what they told usCoastal West Sussex is one of the most beautiful and prosperous areas in South East England and is already home to a large number of significant businesses across a broad range of industrial sectors.

Adur & Worthing and Arun & Chichester are all part of  the Coastal West Sussex area, extending over a range of towns and villages in the county of West Sussex.  Coastal West Sussex complements two other key business areas in West Sussex: The Gatwick Diamond and Rural West Sussex.

The businesses based in this coastal area perform a number of activities, serving residents, students, visiting tourists and other businesses.  We looked at some of the main sectors that are growing in this area and the businesses that exist in these sectors locally.

Every employer we interviewed stressed the importance of good grades in Maths and English at GCSE level as a minimum requirement to get a job or apprenticeship in any sector.

Not sure what sector you’ll like to work in?  Perhaps you should take a little quiz!  We found a great one here….. ‘Whose Crew Are You?
